Raphael appears in the Book of Tobit as a companion sent to guide young Tobias on a journey, though Tobias doesn't recognize him as an angel until the end. Along the way, Raphael has him catch a fish from the Tigris and keep its heart, liver, and gall, which later cure his father Tobit's blindness and drive off a demon threatening Tobias's bride. His name means "God heals," and Catholic tradition regards him as one of only three archangels named in scripture, alongside Michael and Gabriel. He's invoked for safe travel, healing, and happy meetings, since the same journey that saved Tobit's sight also brought Tobias his wife.

Yes. Every medal ships on an 18-22" adjustable snake chain in the same finish as the medal - stainless steel or 18k gold. No need to source a chain separately.
Are the medals hypoallergenic?
